Regulatory Specialist for Sustainable Transport Solutions

Key Responsibilities:

As a Regulatory Specialist, you will contribute to the development of CO2 regulation and battery durability in the EU and UN. You will work closely with regulatory agencies, manufacturers associations, and internal stakeholders to influence the development of these regulations.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and maintain networks to prepare and anchor Volvo positions on CO2 regulation and battery durability.
  • Act as a Volvo representative within manufacturers associations to build consensus positions and secure the Volvo position in the industry position.
  • Support and understand the CO2 and battery durability regulation development outside the EU, highlighting deviations compared to the EU approach.
  • Communicate internally about future regulatory development and potential associated risks, providing input to the Product Planning organization and Engineering Product owners to align product plans with developing regulations.
  • Establish and maintain regulatory guidance documents for internal activities and provide regulatory support to Volvo compliance activities.
