Ruminant Nutrition Project ManagerWe are seeking a driven and experienced Ruminant Nutrition Project Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Applied R&D Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing research projects focused on ruminant nutrition and health.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee the execution of R&D projects related to ruminant nutrition and health, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project objectives.
- Identify and secure experimental facilities, design comprehensive study protocols, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Prepare and write compelling efficacy sections for registration dossiers, effectively communicating research findings to regulatory bodies.
- Manage collaborative research projects with external partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless project execution.
- Participate actively in statistical analysis of applied research trials, drawing meaningful insights from data and contributing to scientific reports.
- Prepare concise and informative scientific summaries for the technical team, effectively conveying key findings and recommendations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ruminant nutrition through continuous review of scientific literature, identifying relevant trends and opportunities.
- Provide technical support to marketing and commercial teams, assisting with commercial trial setup and data analysis as needed.
- Proven experience in project management within a research environment.
- Strong understanding of experimental design principles and statistical analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in at least one major statistical software package (SAS, SPSS, R Studio).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional language proficiency is an asset.
- Master's degree in animal sciences (ruminants) or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in R&D within the feed industry or with feed additives is highly desirable.
- Highly autonomous and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic.
- Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining rigorous standards in all aspects of work.
- Possesses a strong understanding of regulatory requirements within the animal nutrition industry.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to contribute innovative ideas.
