Gryaab AB is seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our team in the development of entangled-photon sources for quantum computing. As a Research Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing our technology and contributing to the growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design and develop custom optical setups to address and characterize charged quantum dots at cryogenic temperatures.
- Pulse Shaping and Manipulation: Implement advanced picosecond-pulse shaping and pulse sequences to manipulate spin states using applied fields or all-optical approaches.
- Research Roadmap: Propose strategies to improve output state fidelities, by improving both the device and the manipulation, and implement a research roadmap to ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
- Documentation and Reporting: Systematically document results and report findings, including scientific publications and participation in international conferences.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with production teams to transfer successful results and contribute to the growth of our company.
- Education: Master's degree or higher in a relevant topic, and 3 years' experience (including PhD) in a research laboratory.
- Skills: Strong fundamentals in quantum optics and optical microscopy techniques, understanding of solid-state quantum emitters, proven ability to build and run complex optical experiments from the ground up, software coding using Python or other common languages, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
