Your Missions

Within the 'development of technical layers' domain, you will participate in the development, maintenance, and production monitoring of the company's middlewares.

Middlewares/intergiciels are a set of software and programs aimed at mastering information system exchanges to ensure security, monitoring, performance, and quality. You will be responsible for the APIs of technical services:

• Cache (Couchbase, Redis,...),
• Monitoring (OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, ELK, Instana),
• Database access (Entity, SQL Server, Cassandra,...),
• Synchronous and asynchronous calls (REST, gRPC, Kafka, RabbitMQ,...),
• Configuration management (Feature Flag, Consul, Unleash,...),
• Clients associated with C/C++,.NET,.NET Core, Java, Python, PHP, and JavaScript.

These components are used intensively (hundreds of millions of calls per day) and in various contexts, making them require robustness and high availability (24/7). The next challenge of your mission will be the integration of the cloud (OpenShift/Kubernetes) into the middlewares. You will need to integrate new API gateway concepts (via 3scale), service mesh (via Istio), and sidecar (similar to Dapr) concepts.

Your mission will consist of:

• Proposing and adding new features (analysis, code, review, and maintenance)
• Proposing and designing middleware and application client architectures
• Linking with the Urbanization and Architecture teams of the Group

You master distributed architectures, microservices, and Kubernetes.

You are familiar with event-driven architectures and associated technologies.
