Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our elevators and escalators, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. This is a critical role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on elevators and escalators, including lubricating moving parts, checking electrical systems, and inspecting mechanical components.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot any issues that may arise, using technical expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve problems efficiently.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that any issues are addressed promptly.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that any issues are addressed before they become major problems.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in the elevator or escalator industry.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations as needed.
