About the Role:
As a Quality Development Engineer for Suppliers at INTEGRA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives with our suppliers. This role is a key part of our company's commitment to delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit suppliers to assess their capabilities and processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans.
- Verify the conformity of products during delivery, either for initial shipment or after process changes.
- Analyze and discuss product assembly steps with suppliers.
- Conduct product/process qualification audits and evaluate suppliers' quality systems and continuous improvement processes.
- Verify the effective deployment of control and surveillance plans and their updates based on reported non-conformities.
- Provide feedback to suppliers based on quality issues detected during assembly or product use (PDCA).
- Establish corrective actions to be implemented by suppliers and provide support for their implementation.
- Oversee supplier rework on production lines.
- Consolidate non-quality costs by supplier, track KPIs for their panel.
- Anticipate supply disruptions, particularly in the context of reference changes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product/process methods, quality/quality suppliers in the industry (mechanical, railway, automotive, etc.).
- Strong interest in various production processes (metal shaping, plastics, hydraulic, electronic products, etc.).
- Appetite for Kaizen.
- Ability to read technical plans, use problem-solving methods, identify root causes, and quickly isolate quality issues and take short-term actions.
- Orientation towards analysis and action.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
