As a Compliance Trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of risk management principles and practices in a dynamic and international environment. You will provide support to the Legal and Compliance department in their day-to-day tasks and controls, and contribute to current compliance-related projects.
This opportunity is a full-time internship contract of up to six months, or a part-time contract for 12 months, allowing you to gain valuable experience and skills in a fast-growing company.
About the Role
As a Compliance Trainee, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Providing support for day-to-day compliance tasks related to anti-money laundering (AML), counter terrorist financing (CTF) and sanctions
- Contributing to the controlling of the AML/CTF and sanctions-related activities and reporting
- Assisting with compliance due diligence, controls and ad-hoc tasks
- Contributing to the update of internal records
- Participating in the implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Supporting the Compliance team on a variety of projects
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong academic background in Law, Business Management, Economics or a related field. You should have a good command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and be able to quickly familiarize yourself with new IT programs.
- You are enrolled or recently graduated with a master's degree in Law, Business Management, Economics or similar
- You have a good command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- You have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new IT programs
- You are able to handle confidential and sensitive issues
- You have some knowledge of or are interested in compliance, regulatory or legal matters
