The Junior Corporate Finance Associate will be an integral member of a collaborative client and transaction team, contributing significantly to the development of marketing materials, constructing financial models, and conducting comprehensive analyses under the guidance of senior bankers.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborative Engagement: Participate actively in pitch and valuation projects, overseeing the contributions of junior team members where applicable.
- Transaction Execution: Support senior team members in the execution of transactions, focusing on structuring, process oversight, and facilitating deal completion.
- Financial Analysis: Take charge of financial assessments, cash flow modeling, and business valuations, as well as credit analysis and syndication efforts relevant to marketing and transaction activities.
- Cross-Departmental Liaison: Work closely with colleagues across various CMA divisions to provide cohesive solutions for ING's clientele.
- Mentorship Role: Serve as a resource for Analysts, ensuring the quality and precision of their deliverables.
- Professional Representation: Represent ING with professionalism during site visits, management presentations, and client interactions, while beginning to cultivate relationships with industry peers and market participants.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on client and market developments, as well as pertinent debt and equity offerings.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain and enhance connections within relevant CMA stakeholder teams, including Risk Management, Financial Markets, and Compliance, while developing a comprehensive understanding of corporate finance, leveraged finance, capital markets, and loan distribution.
- Compliance Responsibility: Understand and adhere to the FCA Conduct Rules applicable to your role and team, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including ING's policies and the Orange Code.
