Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gaming Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with product and business leaders to scope out challenges and develop solutions to improve core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Work with product owners to create A/B test strategies that yield actionable results
- Proactively identify areas of friction for customers and collaborate with stakeholders to improve the user experience
- Contribute to business understanding and roadmap prioritization by leveraging your business acumen to produce compelling analysis
- Work with stakeholders to enhance their oversight of performance with KPIs tailored to their needs
- Conduct analysis into product features and promotions, measuring their performance and providing recommendations for improvement
- Work on mechanics of promotional games to find optimal parameters to meet business objectives
- Contribute to the development of data products, from conceptualization to analysis
- At least 3 years of experience in data analytics (internships included)
- Degree in a quantitative field (Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, etc.)
- Proactive and anticipatory, with a focus on meeting stakeholder needs
- Business-minded, with the ability to understand business problems and produce analysis tailored to their needs
- Excellent understanding of analytical methodologies and the process of delivering analysis
- Contribute to roadmap planning with concise projects that add value to the team
- Excellent understanding of probabilities and applications to real-world situations
- Excellent understanding of statistics and deterministic modeling
- Good understanding of SQL, with the ability to extract and manipulate data autonomously
- Curious and able to ask questions to understand problems
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in the iGaming industry
- Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
- Good understanding of stochastic modeling
- Knowledge of a programming language for simulations
- Awareness of Git and versioning concepts
- Understanding of betting principles (odds, probabilities, closing line value, margin application, differentiation of limits, etc.)
- Open-minded and respectful team members with a sense of humor and passion for their work
