We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our culinary team as an Apprentice Chef. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced chefs in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation of meals, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Support the team in receiving and storing food deliveries, and assist with inventory management.
- Participate in the upkeep of the kitchen, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation in all dishes.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
