About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Research and Development Manager to lead our R&D team in Chateaubriant, France. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving innovation and ensuring the development of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the R&D strategy to drive business growth and improve product competitiveness
  • Lead a team of over 30 R&D professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial and sales departments, to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Ensure the development of products that meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and company objectives
  • Manage the development process, from concept to launch, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D management, preferably in the agricultural machinery industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Professional proficiency in English
