As a quality engineer in the nuclear sector, you may be looking to transition into a leadership role or you might already be managing a small group and wish to broaden your responsibilities while engaging in strategic and significant projects within the nuclear industry. Your Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality assurance team tasked with evaluating the quality of significant projects
- Guarantee the delivery of outputs and documentation
- Address client grievances and formulate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Facilitate client inspections in collaboration with project leaders
- Organize and schedule the team's tasks to ensure compliance of the final product
- Supervise the management of the calibration equipment (calibration and oversight of measuring devices)
- Plan and prioritize quality assurance activities: Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), quality assessment
- Oversee supplier quality metrics in support of procurement processes
- Ensure the safety classification of materials from vendors
- Conduct supplier evaluations
Your Qualifications:
- Technical expertise in mechanics, welding, and measurement
- Experience in quality project/production/supplier management within small to medium batch manufacturing settings
- Proficiency in quality management tools (Root Cause Analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, 5 Whys, etc.)
- Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes (casting, forging, welding, surface treatment, and heat treatment)
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001 standards)
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
- Proficient in English
- In-depth knowledge of RCCM/RCCE codes and ISO 19443 standards
- Awareness of key EDF specifications (AIP - Important Protection Activities)
