Job Requirements
- CAP level training as a machine operator, specializing in public works and quarries.
- Bac Pro
- Hands-on learning experience.
Mandatory Qualifications
- AIPR, SST, SMS, and slinging certifications.
- CACES relevant to the type of machinery operated.
Work Environment
- Reporting Structure: Team leader, Site manager, Works supervisor, Equipment manager.
- Internal Relations: Equipment department, Workshops, Site team.
- External Relations: Machine repair services.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Preparation:
- Ensure safety devices (lights, mirrors, etc.) are functional and main hoses are in good condition.
- Verify the presence of pollution kits and refuel as necessary.
- Understand the machine's capabilities and receive rental machines.
- Site Setup:
- Organize and optimize loading/unloading operations.
- Position equipment according to the site installation plan and directives from the site manager.
- Machine Operation:
- Safely mount and dismount the machine.
- Adhere to designated routes in parking and work areas.
- Be aware of buried networks, cavities, and hazardous areas.
- Maintain all approvals and maintenance records on the machine.
- Machine Maintenance:
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance, including checking levels and visual assessments.
- Perform weekly maintenance tasks such as track removal and oil changes.
- For Eiffage Equipment:
- Update the machine's maintenance log.
- Execute first-level repairs as needed.
- For Rented Equipment:
- Notify the rental company of any breakdowns or technical issues.
- Site Withdrawal:
- Coordinate site cleaning and organization.
- Inform the depot regarding the condition of the equipment (breakages, malfunctions, shortages).
Railway Machine Operation:
- Operate rail-road shovels with precision on railway tracks, handling shovels, switches, and bulky elements.
- Conduct lifting operations and utilize adapted buckets and tools for long elements.
