About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing features on Real-Time Operating Systems, customizing Linux/AOSP environments, and adapting and optimizing advanced signal processing algorithms for resource-constrained embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement features on Real-Time Operating Systems
  • Customize Linux/AOSP environments tailored for smartwatch specifications
  • Adapt and optimize advanced signal processing algorithms for resource-constrained embedded systems
  • Collaborate with system architects to contribute to the overall design of next-generation smartwatches
  • Profile system performance on various levels to identify bottlenecks and fine-tune both hardware access layers and high-level application code
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the field of wearables
  • Deep understanding of RTOS fundamentals and hands-on experience customizing Linux kernels and working within AOSP environments
  • Demonstrated experience porting signal processing algorithms onto embedded platforms with constraints on memory footprint and computational power
  • Expertise in programming languages appropriate for low-level system programming such as C/C++ and higher-level languages like Rust
