Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our Finance team in Rungis, France on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the financial health and performance of Westfalia Fruit.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily accounting tasks of the team, including reviewing accounts and data entry.
- Ensure adherence to French accounting standards, Group accounting system, and timetables.
- Monitor and review accounting entries, bank reconciliations, VAT control, and cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including trial balances and group reporting.
- Work with the Finance and Management Controller on budgeting, monitoring, and comparing forecasts.
- Review and improve accounting processes where necessary.
- Participate in the implementation of D365 software and automation of processes, including assisting the team with the transition to the new system.
- Support statutory auditors in their reviews.
Requirements
We are looking for a qualified accountant with fluency in French and English, and previous experience of working within a commercial finance environment. Experience of the fresh produce industry would be beneficial, as would previous experience of working with D365.
