Job Title: Psychomotor Therapist

The mission of the Psychomotor Therapist at CENTRE HOSPITALIER HENRI DUNANT is to assess and analyze the interactions between sensorimotor and perceptivo-motor functions. The therapist intervenes on medical prescription to prevent, evaluate, and manage disorders of instrumental functions, such as body schema, space-time, tonicity, and laterality. The therapist also provides psychomotor therapy, focusing on the psycho-affective, relational, emotional, and behavioral sphere.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct a comprehensive psychomotor clinical assessment to identify areas of improvement.
• Participate in prevention and guidance programs for patients and their families.
• Develop and implement individualized and group therapeutic rehabilitation and psychomotor therapy plans.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Document observations and interventions in detailed reports.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations, such as PMI, CAMSP, National Education, and Departmental Council.
• Participate in multidisciplinary syntheses and clinical reflection groups to share knowledge and best practices.
• Contribute to the training and reception of trainees and interns.
• Support the development of the care project and participate in institutional work.
