Expectations from You
- Manage and maintain traditional IT infrastructures, cloud environments, and IT services to align with business requirements. Oversee physical/virtual computing and storage settings; ensure systems and services are maintained and secured effectively.
- Provide leadership in project execution within the hosting and identity management teams, ensuring resource allocation aligns with the necessary skillsets while maintaining documentation and adhering to processes.
- Actively support and manage the Divisional portfolio of infrastructure solutions, ensuring platforms operate securely and efficiently, with vigilant support provided.
- Conduct problem identification and root cause analysis for intricate issues.
- Monitor and assess service performance at a component level, such as domain services, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system and process efficiency.
- Mentor and train team members, providing leadership within the team and potentially for other Parker teams or individuals.
System Software Development and Configuration
- Collaborate with Divisional business and IT to coordinate project development, modifications, or implementations.
- Analyze, develop/configure, plan, or install software. Test, document, and implement complex business solutions while applying standard security protocols to safeguard systems. Prepare detailed process documentation outlining operations to be performed by systems. Upgrade and maintain systems post-implementation.
IT Project Planning and Scheduling
- May act as project leader to define goals, objectives, and timelines.
- Oversee work methodologies utilized for projects.
- Ensure assignment completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Estimate, develop, and manage project budgets along with cost/performance analyses.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- IT Federal Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Sciences.
- Proven experience in a specialist support/delivery role within a medium to large organization, with significant technical delivery/support responsibilities.
- Familiarity with Dell APEX, CommVault solutions, and cybersecurity experience (SOX, CMCC, Air Cyber) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in both French and English.
- Initiative-driven with a creative problem-solving mindset.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Solution-focused with a strong customer orientation.
- Eager to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization, demonstrating a well-developed team spirit.
