Role Responsibilities

The Lead DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in the development of software products and their supporting infrastructures.

In this capacity, the Lead DevOps Engineer will leverage advanced technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to design, develop, and deploy software components for both on-premises and cloud environments.

This role requires proactive collaboration with diverse teams across the organization and globally to facilitate the integration of libraries within their respective development frameworks and to support essential functionalities needed for on-premises and cloud deployments.

Key Duties
  • Build, package, deliver, and maintain both open-source and proprietary software components tailored for integration within a C/C++ development ecosystem (e.g., libraries, utilities, command-line interfaces, etc.).
  • Provide comprehensive examples, documentation, and technical assistance related to the software components.
  • Work alongside software engineering teams to enhance and extend CI/CD tools and pipelines, optimizing the delivery and integration of software components.
Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience; a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; or a PhD with at least 1 year of experience.

Proficiency in DevOps tools essential for building and testing large-scale software with numerous dependencies within the C/C++ ecosystem on both Windows and Linux platforms (e.g., Bazel, CMake, bash scripts, conan, Git).

Experience in programming languages such as C/C++, Rust, C#, and Python, along with knowledge of interoperability between Rust and C/C++.

A proven track record of delivering high-quality products in a large-scale commercial software development setting.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous testing methodologies.
