About the R&D Team

Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our technical squad, you will collaborate with QA Engineers, Software Developers, DevOps, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to tackle challenges related to new features, scalability, security, and usability. Your role will involve:
- Defining and implementing test scenarios for Sidetrade's flagship product, "Augmented Cash".
- Enhancing automated test coverage and contributing to the overall development lifecycle.
- Participating in QA guild projects to research and improve automation solutions.
- Engaging in continuous learning and skill enhancement through collaboration with colleagues, including participation in internal hackathons.
Technical Environment
You will work with a diverse set of technologies, including:
- Cypress & Playwright (Typescript/Javascript)
- Postman
- SQL
Additional Technologies

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools and methodologies (Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent).
- Experience with continuous integration tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent).
- Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar tools.
- Proficiency in databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with web development challenges.
- Ability to understand and engage with a complex technical stack (Micro-services, High-availability, Multitenancy, Data Lake).
- Knowledge of Gherkin is a plus.
