Senior Pharmacometrician

Position Overview

PhinC Development is seeking a highly skilled senior pharmacometrician with expertise in Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetics (PBPK) modeling. This role is pivotal in the realm of drug development, where PBPK models serve as essential tools for simulating drug-drug interactions (DDI) across various compounds and scenarios. The successful candidate will engage in diverse applications, including dose determination for first-in-human studies and biopharmaceutical assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a specialized team of three scientists dedicated to PBPK modeling.
• Determine the most suitable methodologies, conduct thorough modeling analyses, and ensure the precision of outcomes.
• Present findings to clients and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

• A minimum of five years of experience in the industry, academia, or contract research organizations (CRO) focusing on PBPK or Physiologically Based Biopharmaceutics Modeling (PBBM).

• Proficient in GastroPlus modeling software or alternatives such as SimCyp, PK-Sim, or Mobi.

• Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and experience in preparing regulatory documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, scientific rigor, motivation, and strong organizational capabilities. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.

Educational Background:
Candidates should hold a PhD or a master's degree in a relevant field such as PBPK, PBBM, pharmacokinetics, clinical pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline.
