Job Opportunity at Voith Paper in France
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer QCS to join our team at Voith Paper in France. This is a field service position that requires regular visits to paper factories for maintenance, repair, and optimization of automation systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular service calls to paper factories to ensure the optimal functioning of automation systems.
- Identify and rectify defects in automation systems to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency.
- Install software updates and data backups on customer premises to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with customers to optimize control systems and improve product quality.
- Provide remote diagnostics and service via the internet to support customers worldwide.
- Offer proactive sales support for spare parts, upgrade solutions, service, and training courses.
- Conduct customer training sessions and prepare service-call reports and customer documentation.
Your Ideal Profile
- Hold a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Have experience in mechanical and plant engineering, with a solid understanding of control and automation technology.
- Be proficient in general software applications and have excellent technical skills.
- Speak French as a native language and have good knowledge of English.
- Be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Hold a Category B driving license and be willing to travel throughout Europe, particularly in France.
