Engineer in Economic and Environmental Analysis for Renewable Technologies

- You possess an engineering or doctoral degree in renewable energy, physics, or chemistry, with a solid understanding of technical economic evaluation and/or life cycle assessment.
- You are enthusiastic about innovative technological advancements.
- You have preliminary experience in cost evaluations (CoO, LCOE) and/or environmental assessments utilizing life cycle analysis.
- Familiarity with photovoltaic technologies and/or the manufacturing processes of PV cells is a valuable asset.
- Knowledge of photovoltaic systems is advantageous.
- Fluency in both English and French is essential, as you will be part of an international team.
We are seeking an Engineer in Techno-economic Analysis and Environmental Assessment with a focus on photovoltaic (PV) technologies for a fixed-term contract. The role involves participation in a program dedicated to conducting technical-economic studies and life cycle assessments of innovative photovoltaic solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting technical-economic evaluations and cost analyses (CoO, LCOE, etc.).
- Assessing the maturity of technologies developed and identifying potential barriers to industrialization.
- Evaluating the commercialization potential of processes and technologies.
- Performing life cycle assessments to determine the environmental impact of identified technological solutions.
- Executing sensitivity analyses to pinpoint critical environmental factors and validate solutions aimed at optimizing environmental performance.
- Identifying recycling pathways and enhancing the recyclability of studied solutions through effective recycling and reuse strategies.
- Collaborating with team members to refine technical-economic evaluations and environmental impacts, leveraging each member's expertise.
- Engaging with project partners through consortia.
- Publishing findings in reputable journals and participating in conferences and workshops.
- Contributing to program reporting.
