Canalization Specialist

About the Job

Faurie is seeking a skilled Canalization Specialist to join our team. As a Canalization Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water and sewage systems under the supervision of the site manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water and sewage systems in various environments.
• Perform tasks assigned by the site manager, adhering to the FNTP classification criteria.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work site and tools.
• Report any issues related to the work site to the hierarchy.
• Set up temporary signage for the work site.
• Identify existing infrastructure using network plans.
• Manually or using machinery, install pipes and fittings, subject to having the necessary operating permits.
• Perform various types of connections or meshing.
• Carry out welding operations.
• Inspect the installation to detect any leaks.
• Perform restoration work (masonry) as needed.
• Work with asbestos products, subject to being authorized and permitted to do so.
• Respect the required slopes.
• Compact materials according to compacting plans.
• Hold the necessary permit to operate a machine, and in the absence of such, refrain from operating it.

Requirements

• Specialized in public hygiene work, you prioritize safety, quality work, and respect for the equipment entrusted to you.
• Hold a TP/VRD or Construction in Plumbing training, and have experience in this field.
