Project Finance Developer Position at Technip Energies

Technip Energies is a leading engineering and technology company serving the energy transition. We are seeking a skilled Project Finance Developer to join our team in Nanterre, Paris, France.

This role will involve building project finance strategy, creating and maintaining project business plans, developing funding plans, and improving financial models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modelling, a good understanding of accounting and financial principles, and experience in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making within Technip Energies.
  • Develop and optimize complex project financing structures, including different levels of debt/equity and subsidies.
  • Build financing models to optimize IRR and prepare exit opportunities to recycle cash.
  • Identify and collaborate with financial partners, including PE funds, infrastructure funds, and green funds.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights for informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial modelling or a similar position
  • Good understanding of valuation methodology
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Knowledge/experience in project finance, including infrastructure project modelling and debt financing
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
