Role Overview
Join Murex and engage with the dynamic challenges of an innovative industry while thriving in a collaborative environment. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will oversee a testing stream within high-impact projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, and risk management.
Your Responsibilities
- Implement Murex's testing methodologies on client projects, including implementations and upgrades.
- Define and communicate the testing strategy to project managers and clients.
- Coordinate all testing activities within the project, encompassing definition, design, implementation, control, and reporting.
- Identify potential quality risks and assess concerns raised by clients throughout the project, managing escalations promptly when necessary.
- Establish KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the testing strategy for continuous improvement.
- Participate in the 'Build' phase, overseeing test case follow-ups, proposing best practices, and managing test campaigns.
- Engage in customer validation processes, offering consulting on testing and automation, and preparing for validation stages including data testing and regression testing.
- Support the deployment of the testing strategy at client sites, managing environment configurations, incidents, and progress reporting.
- Contribute to customer demonstrations, RFPs, and the estimation of testing activities.
- Assist in enhancing existing systems through change management, particularly in the evolution of the roadmap for test automation tools.
- 2-3 years of experience in testing is essential.
- Proficiency in technical environments such as SQL, XML, and Unix is required.
- ISTQB certification is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies is expected.
- Functional knowledge of MX.3 is a plus.
