Position: Accounting Unit Supervisor

Location: Saint-Étienne

Working Hours: 38 hours per week

Contract Type: Fixed-term contract, 3 years renewable

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a team of 2 financial and budget assistants.
• Offer strategic and technical guidance to team members.
• Engage in the formulation of accounting protocols in collaboration with other department heads.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of various budgets managed by the support unit.
• Participate in all phases of the budgeting process.
• Ensure the verification of legal documents essential for managing public contracts handled by the unit.
• Maintain and update monitoring tools, dashboards, and reporting systems.
• Compile financial reports for activities overseen by the unit.

Qualifications:

• Strongly recommended professional experience in public accounting.
• Familiarity with the legal and financial frameworks governing local authorities and public procurement regulations.
• Proficient in conducting meetings.
• Possess strong listening skills, adaptability, and responsiveness.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to provide recommendations and advice.
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
