Job Context
The Geotechnical Structures Tunnels department, part of SYSTRA's Structures and Civil Engineering Business Unit, offers engineering services for underground structures. We provide expertise in design, construction, and supervision of tunnel projects, as well as inspection and safety services for existing infrastructure. We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure project delivery meets contractual obligations, including cost, schedule, quality, safety, and performance requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing guidance, information, and alerts as needed.
- Verify client compliance with project requirements and remind them of their obligations when necessary.
- Implement SYSTRA's project management processes.
- Manage client affairs, including mandate management, project planning, and reporting.
- Lead and manage project teams.
- Organize project production.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Provide technical expertise on projects, including project reviews and expertise missions.
- Participate in technical decision-making regarding project execution methods and define variants.
- Contribute to the technical follow-up of projects under construction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering option) and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of engineering disciplines, particularly structure, geotechnics, and underground works.
- Proficiency in Eurocodes, with knowledge of foreign codes being an asset.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with a third language being an advantage.
