The Renewable Energy Project Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa will play a key role in developing large-scale renewable energy projects abroad. Key responsibilities include:
Main Tasks- Develop projects from pre-feasibility to construction, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations.
- Design economically viable projects, collaborating with local stakeholders and experts.
- Obtain or supervise the obtaining of administrative authorizations and ensure their follow-up.
- Lead feasibility studies, including environmental impact assessments and technical sizing studies.
- Contribute to the search for third-party financiers, obtain financing terms, and finalize necessary documents.
- Manage and coordinate local partners or co-developers, ensuring effective relationships.
- Initiate, organize, and lead work and presentation meetings, ensuring stakeholder consultation and information.
- Participate in technical, regulatory, and commercial prospective monitoring.
- Actively monitor and identify calls for tenders and project calls, responding to them as needed.
- Prepare and write responses, defend them, and organize the company's positioning.
- Report on activity via periodic activity reports and tracking tools.
- Prepare project presentations and documentation for presentation to banks.
- Establish Project Forecast Budgets and Business Plans in conjunction with Group services.
- Contribute to the improvement of company projects and feedback.
- Engineering or Master's degree in Environment, Economics, or a related field, with significant experience in developing large-scale renewable energy projects abroad.
- Good interpersonal and writing skills, strong knowledge in renewable energies.
- Proficient with standard IT tools and planning software.
- Rigorous, methodical, enjoys teamwork but also capable of working with great autonomy.
- Professional proficiency in English is essential.
- Annual bonus.
