Job Title: Vibroacoustic Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Vibroacoustic Engineer to join our team at Alstom, a global leader in the rail industry. As a Vibroacoustic Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of our rolling stock products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of noise and vibration performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply Vibroacoustic Engineering Instructions and guidelines to perform project tasks
  • Perform Vibroacoustic analysis of tenders and prepare specifications and management plans
  • Choose the most efficient methods for noise source allocation and verification
  • Liaise with Acoustic Chief Engineer and experts in key domains to obtain necessary data
  • Capture Vibroacoustic REX of projects using AT Vibroacoustic databases
R&D Main Missions:
  • Lead and manage R&D actions for product improvement and methodologies for Vibroacoustics
  • Develop innovative methodologies for standard application in rolling stock design
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree with specialization in Vibroacoustics, acoustics, or vibration
  • More than 5 years of experience in a Vibroacoustic department
  • Matlab standard level, MS Excel advanced level, and Vibroacoustic testing and postprocessing skills
  • Good communication skills and English conversational/writing/reading advanced level
