Position Overview:
As part of the Product & Client Strategy division, the Product Lifecycle team is responsible for overseeing the management of investment fund lines, including Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), from their inception through their entire lifecycle. The Investment Product Manager plays a crucial role in managing AXA IM's investment product offerings, both on a cross-border and local scale. This includes overseeing the lifecycle of products post-launch, adapting offerings to meet local market demands, driving fund repositioning and closure initiatives, and contributing to strategic projects that impact the product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance and evolution of the product ranges across various metrics, including assets under management, portfolio composition, performance metrics, competitive positioning, fees, and revenue.
- Product Structuring:
- Conduct thorough analyses of the product ranges to identify gaps, establish competitive positioning, and define a clear product structure.
- Evaluate competitor offerings to provide innovative ideas to the marketing and sales teams.
- Develop and maintain a compelling and relevant product portfolio for AXA IM.
- Product Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for enhancement within the product offerings.
- Manage projects in close collaboration with Product Development, Sales, and other relevant teams, including investment, legal, compliance, and operations.
- Lead initiatives that may affect the product ranges, including strategic projects focused on value for money, commercial initiatives for market entry, and operational adjustments.
- Provide ongoing support to the funds' Board of Directors, including preparing presentations for board meetings and addressing ad hoc project requests.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher is required, with additional qualifications in Asset Management or the ETF sector being advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the ETF industry is essential. A background in financial engineering is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of ETFs, including both passive and active strategies.
- Strong understanding of Equity and Fixed Income asset classes.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory; proficiency in French is preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring effective coordination among various teams.
- The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where priorities shift frequently and deadlines are critical.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary for preparing internal presentations and leading project discussions.
