About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Hospitality Business Intelligence R&D delivery team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and services.
Main Responsibilities
Test Strategy and Planning
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive test strategy to ensure the quality of our software products and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize test cases and ensure traceability with specifications.
- Coordinate with Product Managers and stakeholders to assess requirements and create functional tests that cover the functionality.
- Identify and mitigate risks, gaps, and impact on the project.
- Participate in regression testing and execute tests using test frameworks, monitor test results, and perform reporting.
- Develop and maintain test plans, including functional and non-functional testing.
Test Design and Execution
- Design and develop test cases and scripts as needed.
- Prepare test environments, test data, and execute test cases.
- Provide go/no-go decisions for customer test campaigns.
- Ensure project, product, or release quality control.
Problem Tracking and Resolution
- Provide information to developers to fix defects.
- Verify PTR fixes and provide go/no-go for loading PTRs into production.
- Document software defects.
Communication and Coordination
- Interface and communicate with stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery without gaps.
- Maintain good interpersonal relations with stakeholders.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing across departments and stakeholders.
About Our Ideal Candidate
- 7+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in a SaaS model.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in functional testing, API testing, data-driven testing, and SQL data validation.
- Fluent in English.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus.
- Good to have: exposure to automation testing using Selenium and programming languages like Java or JavaScript.
