As the Procurement Manager for Logistics and Supply Chain, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the acquisition of logistics and supply chain services, ensuring optimal value and performance.
This position requires strategic insight, outstanding negotiation capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the logistics industry. You will cultivate supplier partnerships, refine procurement processes, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our supply chain operations.
- Formulate and implement procurement strategies for logistics and supply chain services, in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Negotiate agreements, terms, and conditions to obtain cost-efficient and high-quality services.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments (logistics, operations, finance) to synchronize procurement efforts with business goals.
- Evaluate market trends and industry changes to uncover opportunities for cost reduction and risk management.
- Compile and present procurement analyses, forecasts, and budgets to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, particularly in logistics and supply chain.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools.
- Fluent in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the logistics and supply chain industry in Europe is highly preferred.
