Anaplan is seeking a distinguished Lead Applications Architect to become a vital member of our Sales Performance Management (SPM) Application team. This role involves working within autonomous Scrum teams that prioritize collaboration, innovation, and transparency. The Sales Performance Management (SPM) Application team is responsible for delivering Anaplan's out-of-the-box and customizable applications across various domains, including Sales Planning (Territory and Quota Planning, Account Segmentation, and Capacity Planning), Sales Forecasting, and Incentive Compensation Management (ICM).
Your Impact
- Design, architect, and develop sales model templates such as Sales Planning and Capacity Planning using Anaplan, adhering to industry best practices to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Exhibit versatility by taking on multiple roles within projects, collaborating with product owners to refine requirements, drafting comprehensive test scripts, constructing models, documenting processes, and facilitating enablement sessions to equip stakeholders with the skills necessary for effective utilization of Anaplan solutions.
- Transform template models into configurable solutions, allowing for customization to meet unique customer requirements while ensuring scalability and efficiency in alignment with Anaplan best practices.
- Work closely with the Operational Excellence Group (OEG) to optimize Anaplan models according to best practices, ensuring superior performance and scalability. By utilizing Anaplan's recommended methodologies, the architect enhances model functionality and usability, delivering robust solutions that meet high-performance standards.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive team environment through active participation in discussions, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the collective success of the team and project.
- Collaborate with platform teams, cross-functional teams, partners, customers, and professional services teams to ensure seamless integration and successful implementation of Anaplan solutions, engaging in communication and knowledge-sharing to achieve project objectives.
Your Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Anaplan Solution Architect, with a strong background in implementations and model-building.
- Domain knowledge in sales performance management (SPM) is highly advantageous, enhancing the architect's ability to address the specific needs and challenges of sales processes.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Dynamics 365 (D365) is a significant asset, facilitating deeper integration and enhanced functionality within Anaplan solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence teams towards successful project completion.
- Experience collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) while working cross-functionally to meet application roadmap objectives.
- A certified Master Anaplanner is required.
