Position: Project Manager in the Nuclear Industry

AtkinsRéalis is expanding its footprint in France and is on the lookout for Project Managers to contribute to the dynamic growth within the French nuclear industry. With significant projects such as the NUWARD Small Modular Reactor (SMR) and the development of six new EPR2 reactors, AtkinsRéalis is leading the charge in this vital sector.

With over five decades of experience in the Nuclear domain, AtkinsRéalis stands as a premier organization in New Nuclear in the United Kingdom, boasting extensive expertise in international nuclear ventures. As a Project Manager, you will engage in diverse projects, collaborating with colleagues and enhancing the technical prowess of the organization.

AtkinsRéalis has played a pivotal role in initiatives like ITER and the design studies for new EPR reactors in France, with a promising horizon for upcoming projects in the next decade.

In addition to new ventures, there is an increasing emphasis on the operation of existing facilities and the decommissioning of aging nuclear plants. Explore some of our most recent and innovative projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing project activities to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints, while adhering to quality benchmarks.
  • Facilitating and organizing design coordination meetings.
  • Formulating project execution plans, supervising tasks and team members to guarantee progress.
  • Coordinating internal and external relationships along with governance frameworks.
  • Managing project budgets and finances.
  • Proposing digital or organizational strategies to fulfill client requirements.
  • Ensuring commitments to clients are consistently met.
  • Preparing technical and commercial proposals.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Fluency in French (C1 level) and proficiency in professional English (B2 level).
  • Experience in the Nuclear sector or a comparable complex and regulated industry.
  • Proven track record in managing intricate multidisciplinary industrial projects.
  • Strong independence and initiative.
