Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

MotorK is a leading sales and marketing technology company in Europe, specialising in the automotive sector. Our mission is to empower manufacturers and dealerships to sell more with innovative, cloud-based products and services.

We are on a fast and ambitious trajectory, serving 90% of the automotive manufacturers. To continue our growth, we are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist.

You will be part of a team of 5 cloud engineers and will be responsible for managing our existing clusters in MotorK. Your role will be key to ensuring the efficient operation of our cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement best practices and infrastructure improvements to increase the efficiency of our software development lifecycle
  • Build and provide tools to increase developer experience
  • Improve and scale our cloud infrastructure, ensuring governance, cost, and security are under control
  • Develop and improve platform monitoring strategies
  • Perform capacity management and load testing
  • Provide cloud infrastructure support for the entire Research & Development department

Technologies you might work with include:

  • Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
  • Cloud: AWS, GCP
  • Web: Nginx, Cloudflare
  • Data: Kafka, MySQL, Postgres, RabbitMQ, MongoDB
  • Monitoring: Grafana, Loki, Prometheus
  • Code: PHP, Java, Groovy, Python, Javascript

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on production experience on Kubernetes, at least 3 years
  • Experience with at least one Cloud Provider, preferably AWS

Good to have

  • Understanding of SRE and DevOps practices
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD
  • Relevant experience with RDBMS (mysql, postgres), troubleshooting and optimization
  • Background in Linux environments as Administrator
  • Experience on scripting (bash, python)
  • Practical knowledge of networking, both cloud and bare-metal
  • Good knowledge of monitoring and log collection tools (grafana, prometheus, loki)
  • Experience with PHP or Java on k8s is a plus
  • Experience with OSS CMS (WordPress, Joomla...) is a plus
