Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to manage a team of 4 software engineers. The successful candidate will oversee the development of our Python scientific engine, ensure compliance with internal standards, and contribute to the technical roadmap.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute directly to the code base, either individually or in pairs
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions (REX) to share expertise with the team
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and practices
- Present progress and goals to the team
- Contribute to the technical roadmap through architecture meetings and design documents
- Lead and coach the software engineer team to deliver according to their roadmap
- Provide expertise to help the team develop, optimize, and update software for risk models, data collection, and visualization
- 1+ year of technical management experience
- Excellent communication skills in English and French
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or data scientist
- Solid knowledge in Python, engineering background, and experience with Docker
- Fluent in English and French
