We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Lawyer to join our team at ENGIE Renouvelables. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities- Drafting and Negotiation of M&A Transactions: You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating M&A transactions in France, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, from due diligence to post-closing.
- Implementation and Monitoring of Partnerships: You will implement and monitor partnerships, drafting and negotiating shareholders agreements.
- Drafting and Negotiation of Commercial Contracts: You will draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including non-recourse financings, and provide legal follow-up on financing agreements.
- Review of PPAs: You will review Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for all geographies, not just France.
- Cross-Functional Issues: You will participate in cross-functional issues related to the governance of companies.
- Legal Risk Assessment: You will identify and assess legal risks and make proposals and recommendations to support operational teams and management in their decision-making.
- Compliance and Reporting: You will ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, ethical principles, policies, and procedures within the ENGIE Group, and report any non-compliance.
- Law Degree: You must have a law degree from a recognized university.
- Legal Experience: You must have at least 5 years of legal experience, ideally in an international law firm, relevant to the mission.
- Language Skills: You must be fluent in French and English.
