Media.Monks is on the lookout for a Senior Marketing Strategist to spearhead strategic initiatives on client projects. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can foresee, research, and pinpoint client opportunities while delivering innovative insights and a compelling point of view, all while managing dynamic and engaging daily projects.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of harnessing creativity and effectiveness to develop campaigns that are well-supported by data, trends, and cultural insights. A passion for sports, gaming, music, or street culture is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior clients to grasp their communication goals and key performance indicators in partnership with account and project managers. Conduct thorough research to gather pertinent information, including market trends, competitor insights, media evaluations, audience demographics, and KPI assessments, synthesizing findings into actionable strategic insights (with support from communications and insights strategists). Establish the strategic direction for communication campaigns, translating insights and client requirements into a strategic plan or brief that aligns with KPIs and inspires creative teams. Oversee the execution of the strategy, collecting feedback from various teams and clients, and adjusting the strategy as necessary. Monitor the implementation and validate the strategy, ensuring all essential data is gathered to conduct a comprehensive strategic analysis of the project. Utilize Media.Monks' capabilities in media, data, and tools effectively. Mentor junior strategists and foster a close collaboration with the Client Lead and Creative Director on assigned accounts.Candidate Profile:
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Creatives, strategists, accounts, producers, and support staff). 5-7 years of experience in digital transformation, production, consulting, or agency environments, with a desire to contribute to a high-potential organization. Strong presentation and creative writing skills for developing inspiring briefs. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and pragmatic. Positive attitude, active listener, dynamic, and solution-focused thinker. Competitive spirit with a drive to overcome challenges in pursuit of goals. Passionate about social, digital, and innovation sectors, with the ability to track trends and articulate their implications for businesses and products.
