Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Biofuels Research and Analytics team as a Senior Biofuels Research and Analytics Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting research and creating analytical content related to the biofuels markets.
Key Responsibilities- Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on biofuels markets, including market trends, regulatory frameworks, risks, and opportunities.
- Content Creation: Develop and maintain models and databases to inform long-term supply and demand, and pricing of biofuels.
- Subject Matter Expert: Act as a subject matter expert for biofuels markets, contributing to a wide range of S&P Global Commodity Insights publications.
- Presentation and Communication: Develop and deliver presentations and thought leadership on topics around biofuels.
- Visual Content: Create charts, graphs, maps, and other visual content that illustrates trends and insights for customers.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers and potential customers, demonstrating expertise and acting as an ambassador for S&P Global.
- Experience: Three to five years of market-related experience, with additional experience in other markets such as energy, hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, refined products.
- Knowledge: Experience and knowledge of biofuels or other regulated commodity markets.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, including a concise written style, excellent verbal and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate across a wide range of groups and personalities internally and externally.
- Education: Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Statistics.
- Desirable Requirements: Experience within the biofuels industry or knowledge of existing and emerging bio and renewable technologies.
