Role Overview
Clear Ventures is on the lookout for a dedicated Image Quality Test Engineer. This role focuses on the assessment of camera image quality, including the setup and operation of testing equipment, while also overseeing the image quality testing laboratory alongside fellow Test Engineers. As part of a global, interdisciplinary team, the Image Quality Test Engineers play a crucial role in upholding and enhancing the exceptional image quality associated with Clear Ventures' products.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute image quality assessments according to established testing protocols.
- Conduct both objective and subjective evaluations of image quality.
- Gather video and photographic data in both field and laboratory settings.
- Set up and manage testing apparatus, lighting, and related equipment.
- Oversee the maintenance and functionality of the image quality lab equipment.
- Collaborate with fellow Image Quality Engineers and Automation Engineers to define test plans, schedule tests, and enhance equipment.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in image quality assessment, either in a testing role or through photography/videography.
- Knowledge of imaging systems, image sensors, image processing, and standardized testing methodologies.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in consumer product development is advantageous.
