Financial Analyst and Planning Specialist

As a Financial Planning Analyst at Singulier, you will serve as a vital business partner, delivering insightful analyses to support the decision-making process for the executive team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in establishing the controlling team and will be an essential member of a dynamic and high-performing finance group. This position offers opportunities for growth and requires adaptability as the role evolves over time.

Oversee the Development of the Annual Operating Budget and Forecasts
  1. Collaborate with senior management and department leaders to formulate the annual budget.
  2. Conduct regular reforecasts and perform ad hoc analyses as necessary.
  3. Generate periodic Budget vs. Actual (BvA) reports.
  4. Manage, document, and enhance the company-wide budgeting process continuously.
Manage Company Management Information and Reporting
  1. Execute financial processes, performance reporting, and assist in designing the information flow and methodologies.
  2. Prepare materials for business reviews for the senior leadership team.
  3. Analyze company and project performance using precise and relevant KPIs, thereby enhancing the decision-making capabilities of management and leadership.
Lead the Monthly Closing Process
  1. Conduct monthly financial closings, consolidations, and variance analyses with utmost quality, reliability, and accuracy for group executives and stakeholders.
  2. Implement, manage, and continuously refine monitoring and reporting tools to automate and streamline routine tasks and existing processes, supporting the company's growth.
Systems and Process Implementation
  1. Define and execute a tooling automation action plan.
  2. Spearhead the financial implementation of key systems as the organization expands and evolves.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting firm and/or a start-up or scale-up environment.
  • A Master's Degree in Finance from a recognized business school or university.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a meticulous and organized approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • High ethical standards with the capability to handle confidential information.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in both French and English.
Recommended Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with Sage and/or Stafiz is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders effectively.
