This role will support the Accounting Manager in developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The position will be responsible for general ledger accounting and reporting within the ACC Group (France, Germany, Italy).
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all documents and information are recorded on-time and accurately in the accounting system, respecting local legal and corporate regulations.
- Assist local finance controllers in inventory checks and compliance between physical and accounting inventory.
- General ledger: book and reconcile payroll entries, ensure matching of payroll entries by the service provider monthly, and check that all entries are posted on the correct accounts with relevant supporting documentation.
- Control the correct allocation of bank entries and supervise the reconciliation of supplier payment accounts.
- Ensure taxes are posted on the correct accounts and reconciled with their payment.
- Contribute to putting in place a solid fiscal calendar and controls for fiscal returns and related accruals.
- Provide necessary financial data for External Audit.
- Work with finance controllers to establish a monthly follow-up of recurring expenses for review and accruals.
- Share the monthly balance sheet reconciliation and P&L analysis with Finance teams and ensure a monthly review of the formalized analysis.
- Accounting in French GAAP and IFRS.
- Solid knowledge of ERP and consolidation tools.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in an international environment.
- Degree in Accounting (3-year degree), ideally CPA or equivalent.
- Fluent in French and English.
