About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at MBDA. As an Industrial Mechanical Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of mechanical components and sub-assemblies for our defense systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
