Job Title: Corporate Communications Manager - EMEA Region

Join Shiseido Company, Limited as a Corporate Communications Manager - EMEA Region and lead the development of SHISEIDO EMEA corporate strategy. As a key member of the Image, Communication, Digital Global Fragrances and Corporate Communication Director team, you will design and implement relevant 360° communication programs to develop SHISEIDO EMEA global equity, awareness, and strengthen its reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a corporate communication plan to be shared with HQ in Tokyo/brands/local markets.
  • Elaborate a message platform on the main corporate topics of the group.
  • Closely collaborate with other communication departments.
  • Build and deploy central communications tools (press kit, global content, guidelines...).
  • Media relations management.
  • Structuring and building up an EMEA network of journalists in key outlets for each market.
Crisis Communication Management:
  • Plan out the crisis communication strategy at EMEA level.
  • Represent the communication department within risk management squad.
SHISEIDO EMEA Social Platforms Management:
  • Develop a SHISEIDO EMEA Social media road map.
  • Set up a yearly editorial plan.
  • Create or adapt content for social platforms.
  • Performance KPI's Monitoring.
  • Monitoring and social listening tools management and coordination.
Executive Media Relations Management:
  • External communication plan for the Chairman and President & CEO EMEA.
  • Strategic and operational corporate com and PR support for Brands.
  • Media relations support (consulting / operational).
  • Development of corporate topics with Brands.
  • Spokesperson management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 to 10-year experience in corporate communication in luxury, beauty or pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong knowledge of global as well as trade media (print and online).
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills, extremely organized and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across different departments to eliminate silos and achieve aligned objectives.
  • A natural relationship builder with the ability to work well in complex and matrix environment.
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
