Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Engineer to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a key member of our Contracts department, you will be responsible for managing contracts and claims for designated projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for all contract and procurement activities required by designated capital projects.
  • Advise and execute on complex forms of contracts, including CCFT, OBE/OBT, and FEED+.
  • Develop commercial structures and contract terms for CFT packages.
  • Evaluate commercial aspects of bids and recommend award.
  • Support project teams to obtain relevant approvals and navigate gates.

Senior Contract Engineer Responsibilities
  • Participate in defining and coordinating contract methods for the entity.
  • Coach contract engineers on contract management methods, tendering stages, and early execution stages.
  • Ensure governance is followed for contracts process on projects.
  • Represent the client in project reviews for contractual subjects.

Coordination with Companies
  • Participate in overall coordination with companies, including information sharing and action coordination.
  • Contribute to ensuring coherence between companies and project needs.
  • Train contract engineers on contract management within projects.

Claim Management
  • Analyze and review existing contracts and claims, providing expertise support to projects.
  • Advise and direct projects on claim management, including on-the-spot requests.
  • Investigate and assess merit of major claims and disputes.
  • Provide recommendations for building claim dossiers and corresponding settlement.

Requirements
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Ability to influence and manage in a transversal environment.
  • Knowledge of project phases, including experience as package contract engineers.
  • Claim management experience.
  • Sharing of information and communication skills.
  • EPC contract professional with 15 years of dedicated experience in projects.
  • Communication, influencing, and networking skills.
  • Ability to work with complexity and challenging stakeholders.
  • Contract preparation, CFT, negotiation, and administration skills.
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads in a fast-paced environment.
