Job Title: Head of Legal f/h h/f

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Legal to join our team at the ITER Organization. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategies and legal instruments in line with our status as a public international organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal analyses and advice on best practices for our policies and international cooperation
  • Manage the legal aspects of international large construction projects in Science and Technology
  • Provide expertise in writing formal legal documents and instruments for the implementation of construction projects through complex contracts
  • Knowledge of French Law and Regulations, which we observe pursuant to Article 14 of the ITER Agreement
  • Experience in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in public law, preferably including experience within a large international organization or construction project
  • 15 years' experience would be considered advantageous
  • Masters' degree in International or Public Law or other relevant legal discipline
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
