Role & Responsibilities – Your ContributionsAs an Automation QA Engineer focusing on mobile hypercasual gaming, you will play a pivotal role in our quality assurance initiatives. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for Unity-based hypercasual games on mobile platforms. If you possess a robust background in Unity game development, expertise in mobile testing, and a commitment to delivering seamless gaming experiences, we are eager to have you contribute to our mission.
Your key responsibilities will encompass:
Mobile Automation Development:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts specifically for mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
- Collaborating with game developers and QA team members to identify and automate essential mobile game functionalities.
Test Framework Optimization:
- Enhancing and optimizing existing test frameworks for Unity games on mobile, ensuring compatibility and scalability.
- Keeping abreast of the latest tools and techniques in mobile automation to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
Device Compatibility Testing:
- Conducting thorough testing across various mobile devices to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
- Troubleshooting and resolving device-specific issues that may arise during testing.
Continuous Integration for Mobile:
- Implementing and maintaining automated build and deployment processes tailored for mobile platforms.
- Integrating automated tests into the mobile development pipeline to facilitate rapid and reliable releases.
User Experience Testing:
- Collaborating with UX designers to ensure a seamless and enjoyable user experience on mobile devices.
- Conducting usability and performance testing to identify and address potential user interface and experience issues.
Qualifications – Your Profile
- Demonstrated experience in Unity game development and QA automation, particularly for mobile hypercasual games.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as AltTester, Airtest, Unium, or AutoHotKey.
- Strong proficiency in mobile testing within Unity.
- Experience in scripting with C# focused on mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
- Knowledge of mobile automation tools and frameworks, such as Appium, Xamarin.UITest, or similar.
- Fluency in English.
