Permanent contract - Welding Operator H/F

The Naval Group is seeking a proficient welding operator to join our production teams. The successful candidate will utilize shielded metal arc welding or submerged arc welding techniques in our workshops.
The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Reviewing quality documentation and preparing workstations for welding tasks
  • Assembling or coating components of nuclear elements using various manual or mechanized welding methods
  • Conducting finishing touches and self-assessments on welds
  • Completing welding-related quality documentation
  • Ensuring the proper operation and basic maintenance of welding machines
  • Contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives
Familiarity with TIG welding processes would be advantageous.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial sector as a welder or welding operator.
Required skills include:
- Proficiency in reading technical plans and quality documents
- Knowledge of material technology
- Expertise in implementing welding processes, particularly mechanized techniques
- Grinding techniques
The candidate should be meticulous, methodical, possess strong teamwork skills, and be comfortable with technology.
Additionally, the candidate should be proactive in developing new welding processes.
This position involves 3X8 shifts and may require occasional weekend work.
