Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cashier to join our team at Accor. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless payment experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage daily cashiering forms and operational documents
- Count and handle cash effectively, efficiently, and with integrity, adhering to established accounting procedures
- Develop and maintain knowledge of menus, specials, and menu items
- Regularly communicate with the culinary team to ensure accurate inventory and availability of items
- Answer phone calls promptly and efficiently, using a professional greeting
- Perform cashiering duties in accordance with established standards and procedures
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized order taker cabin throughout service
- Prepare and distribute necessary operational materials in the order taker cabin and pantry areas
- Report guest comments and feedback to management, completing guest preference sheets
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a polite, courteous, and constructive manner
- Participate in internal training and meetings to enhance knowledge and skills
- Maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues and other departments
- Actively promote hotel services and facilities
- Report any deviations from standard procedures to management
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of F&B services, outlets, hotel services, and features
- Control and maintain delivery timing within established standards
Requirements:
- Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
- Professional appearance and grooming at all times
- Ability to count and handle cash effectively and efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic F&B product knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Minimum secondary education qualification
- Minimum 1-year experience in food and beverage serving
- Previous cashiering experience
