As a global business, SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking a talented Legal Assistant Intern to contribute to the development of a contracting framework and process aligned with key territories' legal requirements.
Your mission:
As a Legal Assistant Intern, you will work closely with the Legal & Compliance team to build, structure, and develop a contracting framework and process aligned with SOPHiA GENETICS' key territories' legal requirements. You will also be responsible for updating underlying legal documentation to support new clients and offerings, including Dispatch and Integrated.
You will be involved in:
Building and structuring a contracting framework aligned with the legal requirements of key territories. Updating underlying legal documentation to support new clients and offerings, including Dispatch and Integrated. Conducting regulatory assessments of key territories to ensure compliance with local legal and data protection standards. Collaborating with various departments to identify pain points and propose solutions for streamlining the contracting process.Requirements
The experience you bring:
Currently pursuing or having completed a Master's degree in Law or related fields, or a student/graduate of École du Barreau. Good knowledge of civil and commercial law. Strong project management and organizational skills. Proficiency in drafting legal documents in English, basic knowledge of common law (US, UK, Australia) would be an advantage. Outgoing personality with the ability to engage with multiple departments and gather key insights. Attention to detail, with a rigorous and focused work ethic.Benefits
